November 21, 2010I've been neglecting my blog lately because of this.
Four years in the making and I'm still not done with Pearl's Christmas stocking. My excuses? Year one, I had a newborn (Pearl) that took up all my time and energy. Year two, my comprehensive exam to get my Masters degree. Year three, pregnant and barfing. And this year... I screwed up and centered the entire project wrong in year one. I've been agonizing over it for weeks, trying to decide if I should unpick the entire design and start over or try and adjust the pattern. I went with adjusting the pattern and hoping it doesn't look too retarded. Good thing I finished Jeff's stocking long before kids.
That's the line of thinking I use to justify why my house is such a mess. :)
